Chapter 17 is a very useful tool, especially when trying to quote a person about a topic. The chapter talks about trying to avoid plagiarizing sources and integrating sources, which a lot of people don’t even realize their doing. First, it goes off discussing paraphrasing and how you can use this to your advantage and have no need to quote the person. Next, they the discuss summarizing, which is discussing all important topics but as well as how to quote. Most of this I already new but it is always good to relearn these skills because they are very important, especially since you could go to jail for this.
